"Description": "A wrapper around Michel Scheffers's 'libassp'\n(). The 'libassp' (Advanced\nSpeech Signal Processor) library aims at providing\nfunctionality for handling speech signal files in most common\naudio formats and for performing analyses common in phonetic\nscience/speech science. This includes the calculation of\nformants, fundamental frequency, root mean square, auto\ncorrelation, a variety of spectral analyses, zero crossing\nrate, filtering etc. This wrapper provides R with a large\nsubset of 'libassp's signal processing functions and provides\nthem to the user in a (hopefully) user-friendly manner.",
